Uganda Visa Requirements
Indian citizens are required to obtain a visa in order to enter Uganda. The visa must be obtained prior to arrival and can be applied for online through Uganda eVisa. The eVisa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue and allows for multiple entries into the country.
In order to apply for a Uganda eVisa, applicants must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of entry into Uganda. Additionally, applicants must provide proof of sufficient funds, a return ticket, and a valid email address.
Uganda Visa Fees
The cost of a Uganda eVisa for Indian citizens is USD 100. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid online using a credit or debit card.
It is important to note that additional fees may be charged by the airline or other third parties when travelling to Uganda.
Processing Time
The processing time for a Uganda eVisa is usually 3 business days, however it can take up to 5 business days during peak periods.
Once approved, the eVisa will be sent via email as a PDF document which must be printed out and presented upon arrival in Uganda.
Validity Period
The Uganda eVisa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. This means that travellers have 90 days from the date of issue in which they can enter Uganda multiple times.
It is important to note that once inside Uganda, visitors are only allowed to stay in the country for up to 45 days per visit.
