New Zealand ETA for the citizens of Cyprus
What is an ETA?
An Electronic Travel Authority (eTA) is an electronic visa waiver that allows citizens of certain countries to travel to New Zealand for short-term stays of up to 90 days. The eTA is linked to your passport and is valid for two years from the date of issue.
The eTA is a simple online application process that requires basic personal information such as name, address, date of birth and passport details. Once approved, the eTA will be electronically linked to your passport and you will not need to carry any additional documents when travelling.
How to Apply
Applying for an eTA is a straightforward process that can be completed online in just a few minutes. All you need to do is fill out the online application form with your personal details and passport information.
Once you have submitted your application, it will be processed within 24 hours and you will receive confirmation via email once it has been approved. You can then use eTA New Zealand to check the status of your application at any time.
Required Documents
In order to apply for an eTA, you must have a valid passport from Cyprus with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of arrival in New Zealand.
You may also be asked to provide additional documents such as proof of accommodation or return tickets during the application process.
Important Information
It is important to note that the eTA does not guarantee entry into New Zealand and all travellers are subject to immigration checks upon arrival.
You must also ensure that you have sufficient funds available for your stay in New Zealand and that you meet all other entry requirements such as health and character requirements.
