What is the Mexico FMM Visa?
The Mexico FMM visa is a tourist visa that allows citizens of Belize to visit Mexico for up to 180 days. It is also known as a Temporary Visitor’s Permit or Forma Migratoria Multiple (FMM). The FMM visa is valid for multiple entries into Mexico during its validity period.
The FMM visa is issued by the Mexican government and must be obtained prior to entering the country. It can be applied for online through Mexico FMM.
How to Apply for a Mexico Visa
Citizens of Belize who wish to apply for a Mexico FMM visa must complete an online application form and submit it along with supporting documents such as a valid passport, proof of financial means, and other required documents.
Once the application has been submitted, applicants will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to pay the applicable fee and submit their passport for processing. Once approved, applicants will receive their FMM visa via email.
Required Documents
In order to apply for a Mexico FMM visa, citizens of Belize must provide the following documents:
- Valid Passport: A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of entry into Mexico.
- Proof of Financial Means: Proof that you have sufficient funds available to cover your stay in Mexico.
- Return Ticket: Evidence that you have purchased a return ticket or onward journey ticket out of Mexico.
- Travel Insurance: Proof that you have purchased travel insurance that covers medical expenses in Mexico.
Visa Validity Period
The validity period of the Mexico FMM visa depends on the length of stay requested by the applicant.
- 180 Days: If you are requesting a stay of up to 180 days, your FMM visa will be valid for 180 days from the date it was issued.
