What is the Green Card Lottery?
The Green Card Lottery, also known as the Diversity Visa Lottery, is an annual program run by the US government that offers permanent residency in the United States to people from countries with low rates of immigration to the US. The lottery is open to citizens of Pakistan who meet certain eligibility requirements.
The lottery is administered by the US Department of State and is open to applicants from countries that have sent fewer than 50,000 immigrants to the US in the past five years. How To Apply
The application process for the Green Card Lottery is relatively simple. Applicants must first create an account on USA ESTA, which is an online portal for applying for visas and other immigration benefits.
Once an account has been created, applicants can fill out an online application form and submit it along with supporting documents such as proof of citizenship, educational qualifications, and work experience. After submitting their application, applicants will receive notification of their status within six months.
Selection Process
The selection process for the Green Card Lottery is random. All applications are entered into a computer-generated drawing and winners are selected at random from among all eligible entries.
Winners are notified via email or mail and must complete additional steps before being granted a visa.
