UK Standard Visitor Visa for the citizens of Indonesia
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for a UK Standard Visitor Visa, you must meet certain criteria. You must be able to prove that: you are a genuine visitor; you have enough money to support yourself during your stay in the UK; and you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit.
You must also be able to show that you have a valid passport or travel document, and that you have enough money available for your return journey or onward journey.
Application Process
The application process for a UK Standard Visitor Visa is relatively straightforward. You can apply online via UK eVisa, or by post using the appropriate forms. You will need to provide evidence of your identity, such as a valid passport or travel document, and proof of your financial circumstances.
Once your application has been submitted, it will be processed by the Home Office and a decision will be made within 15 working days. If your application is successful, you will receive an email confirming your visa status.
Validity Period
The validity period of a UK Standard Visitor Visa depends on the purpose of your visit. Generally speaking, it can range from 6 months up to 2 years. However, if you are visiting for business purposes, then the validity period may be extended up to 5 years.
It is important to note that the validity period of your visa does not necessarily mean that you can stay in the UK for this length of time. The maximum amount of time that you can stay in the UK on any one visit is 6 months.
Fees
The cost of applying for a UK Standard Visitor Visa varies depending on where you are applying from and how long your visa is valid for. Generally speaking, it costs £95 (or equivalent) per person for each visa application.
It is important to note that there may be additional fees associated with applying for a visa, such as biometric enrolment fees or courier fees.
