What is an Electronic Visa Waiver?
An Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) is an online visa application system that allows eligible travellers from certain countries to visit the UK for up to six months without needing a traditional visa. The EVW is valid for both business and leisure trips, and can be used for multiple entries into the UK.
The UK EVW is available to citizens of Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. It is also available to British Overseas Territories Citizens who are resident in one of these countries. To be eligible for the EVW, applicants must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining.
How to Apply for a UK EVW
Applying for a UK EVW is quick and easy. All you need to do is complete the online application form on the UK eVisa website. You will need to provide your personal details, passport information and travel plans. Once your application has been submitted, it will be processed within 24 hours.
Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation with your EVW number. You must print this out and present it at immigration when you arrive in the UK.
Documents Required for a UK EVW
When applying for a UK EVW, you will need to provide some supporting documents. These include:

- Proof of accommodation in the UK
