Types of Visas
Egyptian citizens are eligible to apply for a tourist visa, business visa, or transit visa. Tourist visas are valid for up to 30 days and can be extended for an additional 30 days. Business visas are valid for up to 90 days and can also be extended. Transit visas are valid for up to 48 hours and cannot be extended.

Application Process
The application process for a Sri Lanka visa is relatively straightforward. Applicants must fill out an online application form and submit it along with supporting documents such as a passport, proof of travel insurance, and proof of financial means.
Once the application is submitted, applicants will receive an email notification when their visa has been approved. The approved visa will then be sent via email in PDF format.
Fees
The cost of a Sri Lanka visa varies depending on the type of visa being applied for and the length of stay. Tourist visas cost $30 USD, business visas cost $50 USD, and transit visas cost $20 USD.
In addition to the visa fee, there is also a processing fee that must be paid when submitting the application.
Validity
Sri Lanka visas are valid for six months from the date of issue.
It is important to note that once issued, a Sri Lanka visa cannot be changed or transferred to another person.
