Requirements for the citizens of Oman visa-free countries
Eligible Countries
Citizens of the following countries are eligible for a visa-free entry into Oman: Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. All other nationalities must obtain an Oman eVisa before travelling to the country.
The visa-free entry is valid for up to 30 days and can be extended once for an additional 30 days. The extension must be applied for at least one week before the original visa expires.
Required Documents
In order to enter Oman without a visa, citizens of the eligible countries must present a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of arrival in Oman. Additionally, they must have proof of sufficient funds and a return ticket.
It is also important to note that visitors may be asked to provide proof of employment or residence in their home country upon arrival in Oman.
Entry Points
Visitors who are eligible for a visa-free entry into Oman can enter through any port of entry including airports, seaports and land borders.
Note: Citizens of all other nationalities must apply for an Oman eVisa.
Extension
Citizens of visa-free countries can extend their stay in Oman by applying for an extension at least one week before their original visa expires. The extension is valid for an additional 30 days.
Important: Visitors who overstay their visas will be subject to fines and possible deportation.
