What is an ETA?
An Electronic Travel Authority (eTA) is an online visa waiver that allows citizens of certain countries to travel to New Zealand for short-term stays of up to 90 days. The eTA is linked electronically to your passport and is valid for two years from the date of issue.
The eTA is a simple and convenient way to apply for a visa waiver without having to go through the traditional paper-based process. It also eliminates the need for a physical visa sticker in your passport.
How to Apply
Applying for an eTA is quick and easy. All you need to do is fill out the online application form on eTA New Zealand. You will be asked to provide some basic personal information, such as your name, date of birth, passport details and contact information.
Once you have completed the application form, you will need to pay the processing fee using a credit or debit card. Once your payment has been processed, your eTA will be issued within 24 hours.
