Types of Myanmar Visa for French Citizens
French citizens are eligible to apply for a Myanmar eVisa, which is an electronic travel authorization that allows them to enter the country for tourism or business purposes. The eVisa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue and allows travelers to stay in Myanmar for up to 28 days.
Alternatively, French citizens can also apply for a visa on arrival. This type of visa is issued at certain airports and land border crossings in Myanmar and is valid for 28 days from the date of issue.
How to Apply for a Myanmar Visa for French Citizens
The easiest way to apply for a Myanmar visa is through the online Myanmar eVisa. Applicants must complete an online form with their personal details, passport information, and travel plans. Once approved, applicants will receive their eVisa via email.
If applying for a visa on arrival, applicants must fill out an application form at the airport or land border crossing upon arrival in Myanmar. They must also present their passport, two passport-sized photographs, and proof of onward travel.
