Types of Myanmar Visas
South Korean citizens are eligible to apply for three types of visas when travelling to Myanmar: eVisa, Tourist Visa and Business Visa. The eVisa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue and allows for single entry into the country. The Tourist Visa is valid for 28 days from the date of issue and allows for multiple entries into the country. The Business Visa is valid for 70 days from the date of issue and also allows for multiple entries into the country.
The type of visa you should apply for depends on your purpose of travel. If you are travelling to Myanmar as a tourist, then you should apply for an eVisa or Tourist Visa. If you are travelling to Myanmar on business, then you should apply for a Business Visa.
Myanmar eVisa Application Process
The easiest way to obtain a visa for Myanmar is by applying online through Myanmar eVisa. The application process is simple and straightforward and can be completed in just a few minutes.
To apply, you will need to provide some basic personal information such as your name, date of birth, passport details, contact information and travel plans. You will also need to upload a copy of your passport photo and pay the visa fee using a credit or debit card.
Processing Time
Once your application has been submitted, it usually takes 3-5 working days to process.
It is important that you submit your application at least 7 days before your intended date of travel so that there is enough time for your visa to be processed.
Entry Requirements
When entering Myanmar with an eVisa, you must present a printed copy of your visa along with your passport at immigration.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Myanmar and have at least one blank page available for stamping.
