MEXICO VISA FOR THE CITIZENS OF GHANA
Mexico Visa Requirements
Citizens of Ghana are required to obtain a visa before travelling to Mexico. The type of visa you will need depends on the purpose and duration of your stay in Mexico. Generally, there are two types of visas available: tourist visas and business visas. Tourist visas are valid for up to 180 days, while business visas can be valid for up to one year.
In order to apply for a Mexico visa, you must have a valid passport from Ghana that is valid for at least 6 months after your intended date of departure from Mexico. You must also provide proof of sufficient funds, proof of accommodation, and a return ticket or onward ticket.
Mexico FMM
In addition to applying for a visa, citizens of Ghana must also obtain an FMM (Forma Migratoria Multiple). This form is issued by the Mexican government and allows visitors to enter and remain in Mexico for up to 180 days. The FMM can be obtained online through Mexico FMM, or at any Mexican consulate or embassy.
The FMM must be completed prior to arrival in Mexico and presented upon entry into the country. It is important that all information provided on the form is accurate and up-to-date as it will be checked against your passport upon entry into Mexico.
Visa Application Process
Once you have obtained the necessary documents, you can begin the application process for your Mexico visa. Applications can be submitted online through the Mexican government website or at any Mexican consulate or embassy.
When submitting your application, you must provide all required documents including your passport, proof of sufficient funds, proof of accommodation, and return ticket or onward ticket. Once your application has been approved, you will receive your visa via email within 5-7 business days.
Visa Fees
Tourist visas: The cost of a tourist visa for citizens of Ghana is $25 USD per person plus processing fees.
Business visas: The cost of a business visa for citizens of Ghana is $50 USD per person plus processing fees.
