Types of Visas for Uganda

Tourist Visa

It is also possible to apply for an eVisa, which is an electronic visa that can be obtained online through Uganda eVisa.

The tourist visa allows visitors to explore the country’s many attractions, including national parks, wildlife reserves, and cultural sites. It also allows travelers to take part in activities such as hiking, mountain climbing, and white-water rafting.

Business Visa

Business Visa

A business visa is required for travelers who wish to conduct business activities in Uganda, such as attending meetings or conferences, conducting research, or engaging in trade activities. This type of visa is valid for up to 90 days and can be obtained from any Ugandan embassy or consulate abroad.

The business visa allows travelers to engage in business activities while in the country but does not allow them to work or receive payment from a Ugandan source. It also does not permit travelers to stay in the country longer than 90 days.

Transit Visa

Transit Visa

A transit visa is required for travelers who are passing through Uganda en route to another destination. This type of visa is valid for up to 48 hours and can be obtained from any Ugandan embassy or consulate abroad.

Diplomatic Visa
