Turkey Visa Requirements
Maltese citizens are required to obtain a visa in order to enter Turkey. The type of visa you need depends on the purpose and duration of your stay. Tourist visas are valid for up to 90 days, while business visas can be valid for up to 180 days. All visas must be applied for in advance and can be obtained from the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in Malta.

The easiest way to apply for a Turkey visa is online through Turkey eVisa. This is an electronic visa application system that allows you to apply for your visa quickly and easily from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a valid passport, credit card and access to the internet.
Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation with your eVisa attached. You must print out this document and present it upon arrival in Turkey. Your eVisa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
Processing Time & Cost
The processing time for an online application is usually within 24 hours, although it can take up to 72 hours during peak periods. The cost of an eVisa is €60 per person, plus a small service fee.
If you choose to apply through the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in Malta, processing times can take up to 10 working days and the cost is €50 per person.
Entry Requirements
When entering Turkey, you must present your passport and eVisa at immigration control along with any other required documents such as proof of accommodation or return tickets.
