Which Countries Are Eligible for a South Korea Visa Waiver?
There are currently over 60 countries that are eligible for a South Korea visa waiver. These include most European countries, as well as some Asian and African nations. Some of the most popular countries include the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, China, India and Brazil.

Requirements for Obtaining a South Korea Visa Waiver
Citizens of eligible countries must meet certain criteria in order to qualify for a visa waiver. These include having a valid passport from the country of origin with at least 6 months validity remaining; proof of sufficient funds; and proof of onward travel arrangements. In addition, travellers must have no criminal record in either their home country or in South Korea.
It’s important to note that even if your country is eligible for a visa waiver, you may still need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) prior to travelling.
How Long Can I Stay in South Korea With a Visa Waiver?
The length of stay permitted under a visa waiver varies depending on the country of origin. Generally speaking, most countries are allowed up to 90 days in any 180 day period. However, some countries may be allowed longer stays or shorter stays depending on the agreement between the two governments.
