Rules for the citizens of Armenia visa-free countries
Check Your Eligibility
Before travelling to Armenia, it is important to check if you are eligible for a visa-free entry. Citizens of certain countries can enter Armenia without a visa for up to 180 days in any one year period. To find out if you are eligible, check the list of visa-free countries on the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
If you are not from a visa-free country, then you will need to apply for an eVisa to Armenia before travelling. You can easily apply online at eVisa to Armenia.
Documents Required
When entering Armenia, citizens of visa-free countries must present a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of arrival in Armenia. It is also important to have proof of sufficient funds for your stay in Armenia and a return ticket or onward travel ticket.
Note: All documents must be presented in English or Russian.
Duration of Stay
Citizens of visa-free countries can stay in Armenia for up to 180 days within any one year period without a visa. This means that if you leave the country after 180 days, you will not be able to re-enter until one year has passed since your first entry.
It is important to note that overstaying your visa-free period may result in fines or other penalties.
Extending Your Stay
If you wish to extend your stay beyond 180 days, then you must apply for an extension at the Passport and Visa Department of the Police Office in Yerevan before your visa-free period expires.
