Qatar World Cup schedule for 2022
Dates and Venues
The Qatar World Cup 2022 will take place from November 21st to December 18th, 2022. The tournament will be held in eight stadiums across Qatar, including Khalifa International Stadium, Al Janoub Stadium and Education City Stadium.
The opening match of the tournament will take place at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Doha on November 21st. The final match of the tournament will be held at the same venue on December 18th.
Participating Teams
A total of 32 teams will participate in the Qatar World Cup 2022. These teams are divided into eight groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
The participating teams include defending champions France, as well as Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Spain, England and many more. All these teams have qualified for the tournament through their respective continental competitions.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the Qatar World Cup 2022 are now available for purchase online through FIFA’s official website. Prices range from $105 USD for group stage matches to $1,100 USD for the final match.
In order to purchase tickets, fans must first obtain a Qatar eVisa. This visa is required for all foreign nationals who wish to enter Qatar during the tournament.
Broadcasting Rights
The broadcasting rights for the Qatar World Cup 2022 have been sold to various broadcasters around the world. In Europe, these rights have been sold to Sky Sports and ITV in the UK, TF1 in France and ZDF in Germany.
In Asia, these rights have been sold to Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) and Star India in India, CCTV in China and Fox Sports Asia in Southeast Asia.
