NEW ZEALAND VISITOR VISA FOR THE CITIZENS OF TAJIKISTAN
What is a New Zealand Visitor Visa?
A New Zealand visitor visa is a type of travel document that allows citizens of Tajikistan to enter and stay in New Zealand for up to nine months. The visa is valid for multiple entries, meaning you can leave and re-enter the country during your stay.
The purpose of the visa must be tourism, visiting family or friends, or business activities such as attending meetings or conferences. It does not allow you to work or study in New Zealand.
Requirements for Obtaining a New Zealand Visitor Visa
To obtain a New Zealand visitor visa, you must meet certain requirements. These include:
- Proof of identity: You must provide proof of your identity with a valid passport.
- Proof of financial means: You must demonstrate that you have enough money to cover your expenses while in New Zealand.
- Health insurance: You must have health insurance that covers you while in New Zealand.
- Good character: You must not have any criminal convictions or be considered a security risk.
Note: If you are travelling with children, they may also need to meet additional requirements.
Application Process for a New Zealand Visitor Visa
The application process for a New Zealand visitor visa is relatively straightforward. First, you will need to complete an online application form on the Immigration New Zealand website. Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed by an immigration officer who will decide whether or not to grant you the visa.
Note: You may also need to attend an interview at the nearest embassy or consulate if required.
eTA New Zealand
If you are travelling to New Zealand from Tajikistan, you may also need to apply for an eTA (Electronic Travel Authority). An eTA is an electronic travel document that allows citizens of certain countries to enter and transit through New Zealand without needing to apply for a visa. To find out if you are eligible for an eTA, please visit eTA New Zealand.
Once your eTA has been approved, it will be electronically linked to your passport and will be valid for two years or until your passport expires (whichever comes first).
