Types of Myanmar Visas
There are several types of visas available for Portuguese citizens travelling to Myanmar, including tourist visas, business visas and transit visas. Tourist visas are valid for 28 days and can be extended up to 56 days. Business visas are valid for 70 days and can be extended up to 90 days. Transit visas are valid for 72 hours.
It is important to note that all types of Myanmar visas require a passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry.
Application Process
The application process for a Myanmar visa is relatively straightforward. Applicants must fill out an online application form and submit it along with the required documents, such as a passport-sized photograph and proof of travel insurance.
Once the application has been submitted, applicants will receive an email confirmation within 3-5 working days.
Visa Fees
The cost of a Myanmar visa varies depending on the type of visa and the length of stay. Tourist visas cost €50, while business visas cost €100 and transit visas cost €25.
It is important to note that visa fees are non-refundable.
Myanmar eVisa
Portuguese citizens can also apply for an electronic visa (eVisa) through Myanmar eVisa. The eVisa is valid for 28 days and costs €50.
It is important to note that the eVisa must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.
