What is the Malawi eVisa?
The Malawi eVisa is an electronic travel authorization that allows citizens of Costa Rica to enter and stay in Malawi for up to 90 days. The eVisa is valid for single entry only, and it must be used within 180 days from the date of issue.
The Malawi eVisa is available online, and applicants can apply through the official website Malawi eVisa. The application process is simple and straightforward, and applicants will receive their visa via email.
Requirements for the Malawi eVisa
Citizens of Costa Rica who wish to apply for a Malawi eVisa must meet certain requirements, such as having a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of arrival in Malawi. Additionally, they must have a return ticket or onward journey ticket, proof of accommodation during their stay in Malawi, and sufficient funds to cover their expenses while in the country.
Applicants must also provide a recent passport-sized photograph taken against a white background, as well as other documents depending on their purpose of travel. It is important to note that all documents must be in English or French.
Processing Time for the Malawi eVisa
Once all required documents are submitted, processing time for the Malawi eVisa usually takes between 3-5 business days. However, applicants may choose to expedite their application by selecting one of the available processing times: Standard (3-5 business days), Rush (2 business days) or Super Rush (1 business day).
