What is an eVisa?
An eVisa is an electronic travel authorization that allows citizens of certain countries to enter and stay in a foreign country for a specified period of time. It is issued by the government of the destination country and must be obtained before travelling.
The Kenya eVisa is available to citizens of South Sudan who wish to visit Kenya for tourism, business or transit purposes. The eVisa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue and allows multiple entries into Kenya.

Once your application has been submitted, it will be processed within 3-5 working days. Once approved, you will receive your eVisa via email which you must print out and present at immigration upon arrival in Kenya.
Required Documents
In order to apply for a Kenya eVisa, you will need to provide some documents along with your application form:
- Valid passport: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Kenya.
- Passport-sized photograph: A recent passport-sized photograph taken against a white background.
