Australia ETA validity
What is an Australia ETA?
An Australia ETA is an electronic travel authority that allows visitors from certain countries to enter and stay in Australia for up to three months at a time. It is issued by the Department of Home Affairs and can be applied for online or through a travel agent.
The ETA is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, and multiple entries are allowed during this period. However, each stay cannot exceed three months.
Who needs an Australia ETA?
Most citizens from visa waiver countries need an Australia ETA if they plan to visit Australia for business or tourism purposes. The list of eligible countries includes the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and many more.
If you are unsure whether you need an ETA or not, please check eTA Australia.
