Alcohol Laws in Qatar
Qatar is a Muslim country, so it has strict laws regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol. Alcohol is only available at certain licensed establishments such as hotels, bars, restaurants, and clubs. It is illegal to consume alcohol in public places or to be intoxicated in public.
The legal drinking age in Qatar is 21 years old. It is also illegal to purchase or possess alcohol without a valid liquor license. Liquor licenses are only issued to non-Muslims who are over 21 years old and have a valid residence permit.
Obtaining an eVisa

Bringing Alcohol Into Qatar
It is not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages into Qatar. All luggage will be scanned upon arrival at Doha International Airport, and any alcoholic beverages found will be confiscated by customs officials.
Note: Non-Muslim visitors may bring up to four litres of wine or spirits into Qatar if they have obtained a liquor license prior to their arrival.
