Types of Visas
Bangladesh offers several types of visas for travelers, including tourist visas, business visas, student visas and work permits. Tourist visas are valid for up to three months and can be extended up to six months. Business visas are valid for up to one year and can be extended up to two years. Student visas are valid for up to one year and can be extended up to two years. Work permits are valid for up to three years.
Note: All visitors must have a valid passport with at least six months validity remaining from the date of entry into Bangladesh.
Requirements
The requirements for obtaining a visa vary depending on the type of visa you are applying for. For tourist visas, applicants must provide proof of sufficient funds, a return ticket and hotel reservations or an invitation letter from a host in Bangladesh. For business visas, applicants must provide proof of employment or business ownership in their home country as well as an invitation letter from a company or organization in Bangladesh.
For student visas, applicants must provide proof of enrollment in an educational institution in Bangladesh as well as evidence of financial support.

The application process for a visa depends on the type of visa you are applying for and your country of residence. Most countries require applicants to submit their applications online through the official website of the Bangladeshi Embassy or Consulate in their home country.
