What is a Vietnam eVisa?
A Vietnam eVisa is an official document that allows citizens of Colombia to enter and travel within Vietnam for up to 30 days. It is an electronic visa, meaning it is issued electronically and does not require a stamp or label in your passport.
The Vietnam eVisa is valid for single entry only and must be used within 90 days of issue. To apply for a Vietnam eVisa, you must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of arrival in Vietnam.
How to Apply for a Vietnam eVisa
Applying for a Vietnam eVisa is easy and straightforward. All you need to do is complete the online application form on Vietnam eVisa. The form should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
You will also need to provide some supporting documents such as a copy of your passport, recent passport-sized photograph, and proof of onward travel. Once your application has been submitted, it will be processed within 3 working days.
Costs and Processing Times
The cost of a Vietnam eVisa depends on the type of visa you are applying for. There are three types available: Standard (3 working days), Rush (1 working day) and Super Rush (4 hours). The cost also varies depending on how many people are travelling together.
Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email notification with your visa attached as a PDF file. You must print this out and present it upon arrival in Vietnam.
Entry Requirements
Citizens of Colombia, who wish to enter Vietnam with an eVisa, must meet certain entry requirements. These include having a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of arrival in Vietnam, proof of onward travel, and sufficient funds for your stay in the country.
