Requirements for Romania Visa on Arrival
Romanian citizens are eligible to apply for a Thailand visa on arrival. To be eligible, you must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry into Thailand. You must also have proof of onward travel, such as an airline ticket or hotel reservation, and sufficient funds to cover your stay in Thailand.
You must also pay a fee of 2,000 Thai baht (approximately €50) upon arrival at the airport in Thailand. The visa is valid for 15 days and can be extended once for an additional 7 days.
Process of Obtaining Romania Visa on Arrival
The process of obtaining a visa on arrival is relatively straightforward. Upon arriving at the airport in Thailand, you will need to fill out an application form and present it along with your passport and other required documents to immigration officials. Once your application has been approved, you will be issued with a visa sticker that will be affixed to your passport.
You can also apply for a Thailand eVisa, which is an electronic visa that can be obtained online prior to your departure. The eVisa is valid for 60 days and can be extended once for an additional 30 days.

When applying for a visa on arrival, you will need to present the following documents:
- Valid passport
- Proof of onward travel
- Proof of sufficient funds
- Completed application form
- Two passport-sized photographs
Validity of Romania Visa on Arrival
The visa is valid for 15 days from the date of issue and can be extended once for an additional 7 days.
Note: It is important to note that the visa cannot be extended beyond 22 days.
