What is a Thailand Visa on Arrival?
A Thailand visa on arrival (VOA) is an official document that allows Bulgarian citizens to enter and stay in the country for up to 15 days. It is issued at the point of entry, usually at an international airport or land border crossing.
The VOA is valid for single entry only and must be used within 90 days of issuance. It cannot be extended or converted into any other type of visa.
Who Can Apply for a Thailand Visa on Arrival?
The Thailand visa on arrival is available to all Bulgarian citizens who meet the following criteria:
- You must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining.
- You must have proof of onward travel from Thailand.
- You must have proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay in Thailand.
Note: The VOA is not available to those travelling by air from certain countries, including India, China, and Taiwan.
How Much Does a Thailand Visa on Arrival Cost?
The fee for a Thailand visa on arrival is 2000 THB (approximately €60).
Note: This fee must be paid in cash upon arrival in Thailand.
