Types of Sri Lanka Visas
Moroccan citizens are eligible to apply for a tourist visa, business visa, or transit visa. A tourist visa is valid for up to 30 days and allows you to stay in Sri Lanka for leisure purposes. A business visa is valid for up to 90 days and allows you to conduct business activities in Sri Lanka. A transit visa is valid for up to 48 hours and allows you to pass through Sri Lanka while travelling from one destination to another.
Depending on your purpose of travel, you may be eligible for an electronic travel authorization (ETA). An ETA is an online document that allows you to enter Sri Lanka without having to apply for a physical visa. It is valid for up to 30 days and can be applied for online via the Sri Lanka eVisa website.
Documents Required
When applying for a Sri Lanka visa, Moroccan citizens must submit the following documents:
- Valid passport: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka.
- Passport-sized photograph: You must submit a recent passport-sized photograph with your application.
- Proof of accommodation: You must provide proof of accommodation, such as hotel reservations or rental agreements.
- Proof of funds: You must provide proof that you have sufficient funds to cover your stay in Sri Lanka.

Application Process
The application process for a Sri Lanka visa is relatively straightforward. First, you must complete the online application form on the official website. Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the relevant authorities and if approved, your visa will be issued within 3-5 working days.

Fees
The cost of a Sri Lanka visa varies depending on the type of visa and duration of stay. For example, a tourist visa costs USD 20 (approx.) while a business visa costs USD 40 (approx.). The fees must be paid online using a credit or debit card.
