Sri Lanka Visa Requirements
Kenyan citizens are required to obtain a visa in order to enter Sri Lanka. The type of visa required depends on the purpose and duration of your stay in Sri Lanka. Tourist visas are valid for up to 30 days, while business visas are valid for up to 90 days. All visas must be applied for online through the Sri Lanka eVisa website.
In order to apply for a Sri Lanka visa, Kenyan citizens must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of entry into Sri Lanka. They must also provide proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay in Sri Lanka, as well as proof of onward or return travel arrangements.
Sri Lanka Visa Fees
The cost of a Sri Lankan visa varies depending on the type of visa and length of stay. Tourist visas cost $30 USD for single entry and $45 USD for multiple entries, while business visas cost $50 USD for single entry and $75 USD for multiple entries.
All fees must be paid online using a credit or debit card at the time of application. It is important to note that once an application has been submitted, no refunds will be issued if the application is denied or cancelled.
Sri Lanka Visa Processing Time
Once an application has been submitted, it typically takes 3-5 working days for the visa to be processed and approved by the Sri Lankan government.
It is important to note that applications may take longer than expected due to high demand or other unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, it is recommended that applicants apply for their visa at least two weeks prior to their intended date of travel.
Sri Lanka Visa Validity
Once approved, a Sri Lankan visa is valid for up to 30 days from the date of issue for tourist visas and up to 90 days from the date of issue for business visas.
