What is a New Zealand Visitor Visa?
A New Zealand visitor visa is a type of travel document that allows citizens of Belarus to enter and stay in New Zealand for up to nine months. The visa is valid for multiple entries, meaning you can leave and re-enter the country during your stay.
The purpose of the visa must be tourism, visiting family or friends, or business activities such as attending meetings or conferences. It does not allow you to work or study in New Zealand.
Requirements for Obtaining a New Zealand Visitor Visa
In order to obtain a New Zealand visitor visa, you must meet certain requirements. These include:
- Valid passport: You must have a valid passport from Belarus with at least six months validity remaining.
- Proof of funds: You must demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses while in New Zealand.
- Return ticket: You must have proof of onward travel out of New Zealand.

Application Process for a New Zealand Visitor Visa
The application process for a New Zealand visitor visa consists of two steps: applying online and submitting supporting documents.

Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation with further instructions on how to proceed with your application.
Step 2: Submit Supporting Documents
Once your online application has been approved, you will need to submit supporting documents such as your passport, proof of funds, return ticket, and health insurance policy. These documents should be sent by mail or courier service directly to Immigration New Zealand. Once all the required documents have been received and reviewed, you will receive an email notification with further instructions on how to proceed with your application.
eTA New Zealand
In addition to applying for a visitor visa, citizens of Belarus are also required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authority (eTA) before travelling to New Zealand. An eTA is an electronic document that authorizes entry into the country and is valid for two years from the date it was issued. Applying for an eTA is quick and easy – simply fill out an online form and pay the applicable fee at eTA New Zealand. Once approved, you will receive an email confirmation with further instructions on how to proceed with your application.
