New Zealand ETA for the citizens of Qatar
What is an ETA?
An Electronic Travel Authority (eTA) is an electronic visa waiver that allows citizens of certain countries, including Qatar, to travel to New Zealand for short-term stays of up to 90 days. An eTA is valid for two years from the date of issue and can be used for multiple visits.
The eTA is linked electronically to your passport and does not need to be printed out or presented at the border. It is important that you have a valid passport when applying for an eTA as it must be linked to your passport in order for it to be valid.
How to Apply
Applying for an eTA is quick and easy. All you need to do is fill out the online application form on eTA New Zealand. The application process takes just a few minutes and you will receive your eTA via email within 24 hours.
You will need to provide some personal information such as your name, date of birth and passport details as well as answer some security questions. Once your application has been approved, you will receive your eTA via email.
Required Documents
In order to apply for an eTA, you will need a valid passport from Qatar with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of entry into New Zealand. You will also need a credit or debit card in order to pay the application fee.
You may also be asked to provide additional documents such as proof of accommodation or return tickets depending on the length of your stay in New Zealand.
Important Information
It is important that all information provided on the application form is accurate and up-to-date.
Your eTA will only be valid if it is linked to a valid passport from Qatar with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of entry into New Zealand. If your passport expires before then, you will need to apply for a new eTA.
