Myanmar Visa Requirements
Kenyan citizens are required to have a valid passport and a visa in order to enter Myanmar. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Myanmar and must have at least two blank pages for the visa stamp.
In addition, applicants must provide proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay in Myanmar, as well as proof of onward or return travel arrangements. It is also important to note that all visas must be used within 90 days of issuance.
Myanmar Visa Types
There are several types of visas available for Kenyan citizens travelling to Myanmar, including tourist visas, business visas, and transit visas. Tourist visas are valid for 28 days and can be extended up to 56 days with prior approval from the Ministry of Immigration and Population.
Business visas are valid for up to 70 days and can be extended up to 6 months with prior approval from the Ministry of Immigration and Population. Transit visas are valid for 72 hours and cannot be extended.
Myanmar eVisa
Kenyan citizens can now apply for an Myanmar eVisa, which is an electronic travel authorization that allows travelers to enter the country without having to go through the traditional visa application process.
The eVisa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue and allows travelers to stay in Myanmar for up to 28 days. It is important to note that the eVisa is only valid for single entry into the country.
