Types of Mexico Visas
Malaysian citizens can apply for either a tourist or business visa when travelling to Mexico. The tourist visa is valid for up to 180 days and allows you to stay in the country for leisure purposes only. The business visa is valid for up to 90 days and allows you to conduct business activities such as attending meetings, conferences or seminars.
It is important to note that both visas require an invitation letter from a Mexican company or organisation. This letter must be written in Spanish and include details such as your name, passport number, purpose of visit and duration of stay.
How to Apply
The application process for a Mexico visa is relatively straightforward. You will need to fill out an online application form and submit it along with the necessary documents. These documents include your passport, two recent passport-sized photographs, proof of financial means and the invitation letter from the Mexican company or organisation.
Once your application has been approved, you will receive an electronic visa (FMM) which must be presented upon arrival in Mexico.
