Mexico Visa Requirements
Citizens of Bangladesh must obtain a visa in order to enter Mexico. The type of visa required depends on the purpose and duration of your stay in Mexico. For short-term visits, such as tourism or business trips, you will need to apply for a visitor’s visa. If you plan to stay in Mexico for longer than 180 days, then you will need to apply for a temporary resident visa.
In order to apply for a Mexico visa, you must meet certain requirements. These include having a valid passport from Bangladesh that is valid for at least 6 months after your intended date of departure from Mexico, two recent passport-sized photographs, proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay in Mexico, and proof of medical insurance.
Mexico FMM Application Process
Once you have met the requirements for a Mexico visa, you can begin the application process. The first step is to complete an online application form and submit it along with the required documents. Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email notification with instructions on how to pay the applicable fees.
After paying the fees, you will be issued with a Mexico FMM, which is an electronic document that serves as your entry permit into Mexico. You must present this document upon arrival at the Mexican border.
The validity period of your Mexico FMM depends on the type of visa that was issued to you. Visitor visas are usually valid for up to 180 days, while temporary resident visas are valid for up to 4 years.
It is important to note that if your visa expires before your intended date of departure from Mexico, then you must apply for an extension or risk being fined or deported.
