What is an IR2 Visa?
An IR2 visa is a type of immigrant visa that allows a foreign national to enter the United States as a permanent resident. It is available to unmarried children under 21 years of age who are sponsored by their parents who are U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents. The IR2 visa allows the child to live and work in the United States permanently.

How to Apply for an IR2 Visa
The first step in applying for an IR2 visa is to file Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The petitioner must be either a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident and must provide evidence of their relationship to the applicant, such as birth certificates or marriage certificates. Once USCIS approves the petition, it will be forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC) for processing.
Required Documents: Applicants must submit several documents with their application, including proof of identity, proof of financial support, medical examination results, police clearance certificate, and other supporting documents.
What is a Child Green Card?
A child green card is a document issued by USCIS that grants permanent residence status to children under 21 years of age who are sponsored by their parents who are U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents. A child green card holder has all the rights and privileges of any other permanent resident in the United States, including the right to live and work in the United States permanently and eventually become a U.S. citizen if they meet certain eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for a child green card, applicants must be unmarried and under 21 years of age at the time of filing their application.
How to Apply for a Child Green Card
