What is an eVisitor Visa?
An eVisitor visa is an electronic travel authorization that allows citizens of certain countries to visit Australia for up to three months at a time. The eVisitor visa is free and can be applied for online. It is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Requirements for Obtaining an eVisitor Visa
In order to apply for an eVisitor visa, applicants must meet certain requirements. These include: being a citizen of one of the eligible countries; having a valid passport; providing proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay in Australia; and not having any criminal convictions or health issues that would prevent them from entering the country.
Applicants must also provide personal information such as their name, date of birth, address, and contact details. They must also answer questions about their travel plans and provide details about any family members who are travelling with them.
Applying for an eVisitor Visa
The application process for an eVisitor visa is simple and straightforward. Applicants can apply online through the Department of Home Affairs website or through a third-party provider such as eTA Australia. The application should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Once the application has been submitted, applicants will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours confirming that their application has been received and processed successfully. The eVisitor visa will then be issued electronically and sent to the applicant’s email address.
Validity of an eVisitor Visa
An eVisitor visa is valid for 12 months from the date it was issued.
During this period, visitors may enter Australia multiple times but each stay cannot exceed three months at a time. Visitors must also ensure that they have sufficient funds to cover their stay in Australia during each visit.
