10 Year U.S. Visa Kenya Nationals Application
Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for a 10-year U.S. visa, Kenyan nationals must meet certain criteria set by the United States government. These include being at least 18 years of age, having no criminal record, and having sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay in the U.S.
Additionally, applicants must have a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining and must be able to demonstrate that they have ties to their home country that would compel them to return after their stay in the U.S.. Applicants must also pass an interview with a consular officer in order to be approved for the visa.
Documents Needed
When applying for a 10-year U.S. visa as a Kenyan national, there are several documents that must be submitted along with the application form. These include:
- Valid passport
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
- Proof of financial means
- Proof of residence in Kenya
- Evidence of ties to Kenya
- Completed application form DS-160
Application Process
Once all the necessary documents have been gathered, Kenyan nationals can begin the application process for a 10-year U.S. visa by completing the online application form DS-160 and paying the applicable fee.
Note: It is important to note that applicants may also need to register for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before traveling to the United States – this can be done easily online at USA ESTA.
Interview Process
Once the application has been submitted, applicants will be contacted by email or phone and asked to attend an interview at their nearest U.S embassy or consulate.
At the interview, applicants will be asked questions about their background, travel plans and other relevant topics in order to determine whether they are eligible for a 10-year U.S visa.
